Ellen Vaughn is an award-winning author and speaker. Her novels include The Strand and Gideon’s Torch (co-authored with Chuck Colson). She collaborated with Colson on seven other nonfiction books, including The Body, Kingdoms in Conflict, and Against the Night. Former vice-president of executive communications for Prison Fellowship Ministries, Vaughn has also written for a number of publications, including the Dallas Morning News, Christianity Today, and World. She speaks frequently at Christian gatherings and retreats and has been featured at writer’s conferences in the U.S. and Canada. A native of Washington, D.C., Vaughn holds a Master of Arts in English literature from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Richmond. She and her husband, Lee, live in Virginia with daughter Emily and twins Walker and Haley. |
